Default TTs new rear

I changed my lenses to all Red. New logo in Red. Best upgrade yet, changed my exhaust to Europipes and put Quad tips on to finish. Installed back-up camera to protect them.

Looks good! Are you using the factory stereo screen for the backup camera?

Default Cam

The back-up cam is connected to my screen. Whenever the car is put in Reverse, no matter whats on-screen, it looks out back.

Looks great! My TT came with all red lenses, also with body color Turbo logo (Basalt). (License is fake.)

Where did you get the backup cam and hookup to PCM?

Pretty sure the cable is made by I-Drive. Any camera can be connected after. The same people make a cable to watch DVDs while in drive too.

Looks great. Do you find that the rear camera was worth the investment?

I had this type when I owned the last P, it worked great, so my stereo guy put in.
Only problem was I didnt ask how much before. Once he told me, I told him he should take it out. At his cost,$800 + $200 labor.

I have a OEM backup camera on a Lexus IS 350, and the backup sensors beeper option on the TT.

Camera distorts a bit, but beeper rises in frequency as I approach. Much rather have the beeper.

Either is much better than nothing.

Would like the beeper on the front too, to avoid jamming the spoiler lip into the concrete buffer.

Always wondered why Porsche never installed them in the front?
