Default Extended Warranty

Are there any extended warranty options available for a 2009 Turbo? I'm fast approaching 50k miles and would like that extended to 100k, like I did with my 2004 Carrera. Appreciate any help!

OPC is the best. You can extend up until the car is 9 years old. So no problem there.

Are there any bumper-to-bumper warranties?

Easy care is basically a bumper to bumper warranty, including roadside assistance and towing. The only thing it doesn't cover is wear and tear items (ex. Clutch) and hoses (ex boost hose). I think it is more comprehensive than Cpo.

How much is Easycare? For how many miles is it in effect?

Why don't you get Porsche warranty? Does not get better than that does it? In the UK it's like 2k for 2 years.

Car: 2007 997 TT with 17,000 miles ( out of factory warranty)

Easy Care: 4/40,000 for $5900 with $250 deductible

Fidelity: 5/60,000 for $3500 ( exclusionary platinum total care warranty) with $100 deductible

Of course, i went with Fidelity

I have quite a few friends that have used it on various cars ( E 55 and BMW's) with out any issues.

Have any of you filed a claim with one of the aftermarket warranty companies? That would be the best evidence of quality/value.

my easy care warranty has been in effect for almost 5 yrs, so i have filed several claims without any issues or delays . exampes of items they have covered are clutch slave and accumulator, emergency brake, mass air sensor, and alternator. the only item that was not covered was a cracked boost hose. my indy porsche mechanic just calls easy care and they cover the work.

I would contact the dealer you have your car serviced at and ask what they sell. Less headachs.

I asked the dealer, they said they don't know of any extended warranty for the Turbo because it's considered more of an exotic like Lambo/Ferrari

My dealer Carlsen in CA before I left, offered an extended warranty before the 50K.

I declined, and did not even check the cost/coverage.

I have not bought a Porsche ext warranty in 23 years for 3 Porsches covering over 330K miles. And not regretted it either.

Wife's CLK, have it and wonder if worth it.
