Turbo S sooo fast, why GT-R faster

GTR is HUGE, heavy and fugly.
but when you drive it, you dont feel the wt, strange i know.
and that was not me driving, but two ALMS pro driving it.
but does it REALLY matter which one is faster?
it appears to me that you should buy the one that gets you harder. everything else is academic and pointless. if car made sense, we would and should be all driving honda accords.

I drive my Honda Accord every day and I hate every f'cking minute of it!

I love the look of a GTR and bought one.
Flipped it when it arrived because I don't trust the longevity on the track, limited track do's and don'ts data available (At least back in Aug '08) and not comfortable enough on the street. With 30+ track days it might turn out more expensive then P cars and I like my street cars more comfortable.
For those that want a relatively cheap, huge, flappy padel, AWD, rough riding, very aggressive and fast street car with an occasional twice a year track event it is a great car. You can definately terrorize at track days..
I can see someone who likes PDK, but rarely tracks being happier with GTR then P car. I told a friend of mine who does not know much about cars, lives in climate with snow and ice and maybe does 2 track days a year to buy one and he loves it.

I have been working in Greenville for 18 months and am commuting back and forth to Dallas every other weekend. I think I have enough frequent flier miles to qualify to be a Co-pilot.

This is my first post on the forum and ironically I joined to learn more about the Turbo S and do daily drive a GT-R.
I have done about half a dozen track days at Roebling Road with the GT-R and call tell you, the car does dominate on track but... there are cooling issues and although easily resolved for a couple grand, should not exist.
I drive my GT-R everyday and it is comfortable enough for me. With exhaust mods and tune the car puts out north of 570 to the wheels and is an animal. With all of the above said, I am seriously considering a 2011 Turbo or Turbo S. I have had the two GT-R's over the past 2 years and may be ready to move on. (I may come back to the car in a few years as well though.)

can you describe gtr cooling issues and what you did to fix them? thanks

I installed an HKS transmission cooler and that solved the issues. Should have come from the factory with an aux transmission cooler IMO.

The car actually runs cooler without a tune since boost is stock vs. 17 + Psi.
