Default My turbo S is in but missing logo on back

My car is at the dealership but is missing the rear "turbo S" emblem. The dealership got me a replacement but put it on completely in the wrong spot. They then tried removing it and broke it into four pieces. They ordered another one for me- how do I apply it EXACTLY where it should be? It does look pretty cool without any emblem at all.

The dealer (his paint shop) should have a very detailed template that's used to position the emblem exactly in the correct position.

That is the problem with these guys - they don't have one. I think they just eyeball it.

There are specs in the service manual.

Have them find a template. That is the only way you will get it lined up properly. My dealer did this for me when I had my speed yellow insignia placed.

Good luck.

If they can't get a template tell them to make one off another Turbo S....

They can take it off...but that won't help them put it back on without a template or the specs from the service manual.

While you're at it, consider a body color emblem*. Mine is basalt and I like the stealth look.

easy to do if you have another turbo next to you, obviously easier if you have a turbo s to use as a template, did it a few times with several of my pcars and a few friends cars

They have a turbo S cab at the dealership. I'm going to make a template myself. The location should be the same as the coupe, right? They don't have any coupes in stock.

Check your build list and see if they muffed up on model designation delete. Personally I would have the factory put on the 911 emblem option instead.
