The other features are "aesthetic" related, as far as I can tell (LED tails, DTR, exhaust tips and front bumper).
But more importantly were the 997.1 T's known to have the IMS problem or was that only related to 997.1 C and CS?

I went with the 997.2, but if I could do it over again I'd go for the .1, for the Mezger engine alone. You can mod that block for unlimited amount of power. The .2 DFI engine is basically the one that is in the 991 turbo, very little changed, and it is an impressive engine, but the last Mezger engine is something special.

So any 2007 - 2009 T, Mezger 6speed M combo, i've read reviews that say the Mezger Tiptronic combo isnt as effective as DFI PDK box combo of the 2010-2013 T's, any truth to that?

I'd take a manual Mezger over a PDK DFI. Others would make the opposite choice.

Give it 10 years and "the market" will tell which it values more in a very unbiased manner........

For me the answer is always a manual 911. I'm happy to own PDgay (j/k - that's for you KC), I'm looking at you GT3.
