Which Coilover do you recommend for 2009 997 Turbo?
I am getting ready to do some mods to my 09 Turbo. New GT2 seats, roll bar, and suspension changes. I do not use the Turbo as a daily driver. It is a weekend and track car. Many treads recommend just changing the springs. Many say you will eventually move to the coilovers, so do it now and save the money. My Vendor is recommending the KW Variant 3 Coilover. He says it is easy to adjust and most people using the Turbo on the Track, give up the PASM for more adjustability and performance. I see many of use Bilstein with PASM, others with JRZ, Moton, etc. I am looking for recommendations. If you have changed coilovers, what did you use and why?
PS. I have already done exhaust, ecu tuning, and hoosier tires.

Im in the same boat, looking to upgrade my TT suspension and while many have the PSS10 package I wouldnt mind loosing PASM for a better ride. All actuality I dont plan to track the car ever. I'm looking for a better ride (less harsh/jarring) and definitly a lower ride height. Is there any Spring/Shock combos for what I am looking for?

Hey TT Surgeon,
cool seeing you here again, like to ask you about the TPC bilstien, are you currently using them? how does the normal / sport mode feel compare to standard damptronic? still trying to decide what brand to use after my damptronic busted after 5000km without tracking them!

Basically the B16 Damptronic system hotrodded.
Different PASM programming, Revised front spring Rates with real JRZ Camber Plates.

Ride comfort is very subjective, i would venture to say that it is ~15% stiffer than the stock car. Drop me an email if you would like to discuss further.

Plus, Bilstein customer service is second to none....in the crap-tastic department.

I went with the Cargraphic Tuner Shootout Bilstein DA shocks..very easy to get the perfect set-up!
Great balance, very forgeving....it really that good!
These were tuned by Bilstein Engineers using the Motec data system and designed to work with street R tires.
On my 6GT3 I had the Moton DA C, it took a long time to get them set right.
