Default NEW turbo coming.

I have just been chatting with my dealer regarding my GT3RS order and whilst discussing the (not happening) possibility of a GT2RS he mentioned there is a new Turbo coming before the end of the year. Facelifted, new wheels and PDK he assured me.

There is also a 997 Supersport coming, primer grey, C2S Widebody, Fuchs wheels, Powerkit, ducktail spoiler, retro brown leather interior, very limited numbers and £135,000 in the UK.

Apologies if this is a repost.

So this car will me more money than even the GT2 but with a regular Carrera S engine with powerkit? What is this - the Porsche Ripoff edition? The pricing must be way off, I can see it being between the Carrera S and GT3.

Quite possibly the ugliest 911 in the 997 generation.

death to wet sump engines.
Long live the GT1 engine.
However, IF the NEW wet sump engine could handle 400+ of twin turbo horsepower, Then the NA wet sump engine could make an amazing reliable engine. That's IF. Big IF.

All 'new' models supposedly coming from Porsche should now be considered tentative, given that they are in the process of being subsumed by VW.

VW is not so bad. The pretty much left Bugatti alone after they aquired it. Just be glad it wasn't Ford who isn't buying the company. Or Obama.

Except the car in question is already completed, tooled and ready for production. Just waiting for PDK clearance/approval....That is one of the jobs of the Panamera with PDK in the higher HP trim levels....
