Thanks for the link. Now I want a new GT3. But I could never give up the boost. It would have to be my second car. And before that I'd want a 997TT or even better, a GT2.

Would the new oil pump design mean that the new Turbo design will not have 9 separate oil pumps? (08 Turbo Booklet, MKT 001 104 08, pg 37)
If so, I would think that that would be an improvement theoretically, since there are less pumps to fail.

Nothing is for certain but in a recent podcast of an interview with the chief designer for the GT cars in Driver Republic, he suggested that the GT1 would be around for probably another model release.

Sounds like GT1 block will be around for the GT3/RS, but my guess based on spy photos is that it's gone for the turbo/GT2...
