Drove my first TT today...
I had a chance to test drive an 07 TT today at a local dealer in NJ and I couldn't get the smile off my face! There are few things that give me an instant grin and driving that twin turbo was one of them. OMG! You guys are keeping a effen secret! Now I get it! That car drove like it had a jet engine, now I have to get one some how.....

Bob, I was super happy with my C4S... until I too drove the TT and went for it a few months ago. Just love the whoosh of the turbos kicking in. Effortless and masses of power whenever its needed. Just a different driving experience to the 4S.

I like to use the analogy, the Turbo feels like a LEAR JET, literally. That is, until you hit the over-boost button. Then it turns into a fighter jet...

Three Wheelin'
However, if the car is a DD, and hardly tracked, can one enjoy the power? I love the looks of that car, but already have 3 tix in my "s"...cannot imagine what would happen were I to obtain a TT....

The only, and I mean ONLY, reason not to get a Turbo is just the damage to your license it will cause. Where I live, it's way over-policed. A Turbo would just get me into trouble... Hell, I hardly have the opportunity to wring out my base Cayman around here. That said, if I move back to CA or somewhere else where I have a chance to work it, I'd get a Turbo in a heartbeat.

DD works fine, but I must have the occasional local back roads or long trip to wring it out. Last ticket was 88 in a 75 in the middle of NV, go figure.
Around here, I have fun with on/off ramps. Set the audible speedo alarm to 85 (in a 65) and back off to 70. To do otherwise in a red TT is asking for it.

I have your C4S sitting in my warm garage waiting for you....No risk of a ticket since it's so tame....

Commonwealth of Virginia is the most OVER policed place in the U.S. Invest in a Valentine 1 which is illegal but is a most here in Virginia. Radar detectors are illegal but not a moving violation as speeding is. Most cops here are either too lazy or too dumb to hold down a real job. Hammer down!!!!
