Default Bought a Z06 and love it!

I decided on a Z06 and I'm keeping my turbo, I just can't bring myself to sell this car. They are both excellent sports cars in their own right, totally different but both serious cars.Z06 with the 3LZ option (full leather int.) really enhanced the car.
Throw in a 09 HD Road King for the wind in your hair experience...lol

T1 sway bars are a great upgrade for ZO6's.

+1; make certain adjustable metal drop links (as well as bushings) are included with the sway-bars. Short of R-compound tires I don't know of a more simple and effective modification that will transform the handling of the car as significantly.

I've been tempted like crazy to pick one of these up...they are so cheap now both new and used...but then of course...I keep telling myself...why not just get a ZR1...I have a problem!

I would love to get your feedback on driving impressions of both cars! I currently drive a '99 C5 Coupe and an '89 964 C4, but will sell the Corvette next year and plan on purchasing either a new Z06 or used 997TT. I will wait until the 2010 Zo6's are announced, just in case that helps me with the choice. Unfortunately can't do both. But would really value your opinion!

Try a Cab for the real wind in the hair experience! With airbags.

ZR1's are sold out for 09 unless you are willing to cough up 110K to get one. I haven't seen enough data to confirm the new ZR1 will be worth the money over the Z06 yet.

I doubt you will see the 427 Z06 after 09 model year, if so it will be in limited production and demand a premium price from sources.
Breaking the car in at this point so unable to relate a comp between the two and can't with the age of yours. I will say though these are two totally different high performance cars, the Z may now be highly civilized but still has a muscle car aspect to it and deadly fast when into the power band.

I'll take a few pics of the int. tomorrow and post.

Well I owned a 2006 Z06, and I traded it for my MY08 997TT. I loved the sheer seat of the pants kick of the Z06, and I tracked it several times. I was impressed. the reason I traded it was the fairly cheap workmanship of the cockpit, the incessant rattles, the top de-laminating on me, and the really poor service surrounding the car. it was NOT a lemon. lot of guys I knew had the same problems. I am glad they have spiffed up the inside. I sincerely doubt they have done much to the rest. Really, it was like driving a car with 60K miles on it when it had 5 K
