This car hauls ***, some tail wag prior to the apex if you get too aggresive. To those concerned I'm not comparing this car to the 997tt, just stating what a great sport car for the money.Probably one of the top sport cars out there for the money!

Especially with the $16,000 off MSRP.

The Z06 is an awesome machine, well done Chevy! If I had room in my garage there would be a silver Z06.

Actually 12K,that made me pull the trigger. I wanted one since the 06 but wouldn't pay the 10-15K AMV dealers wanted. The 08 has many upgrades from the 06-07 as well. A no brainer for the car fanatic!!!

Nice addition. Let us know more about what you enjoy about each of the two cars.

318 miles so pulling the trigger tomorrow after work. I'll head east out of albq. (about 10 min.) into the mountains, twisties and straights. So far I like this car a lot.
The ZO6 compared to the tt feels heavier for some reason even though it's 300 lbs. less.. City driving impression is the feel of a bigger car then the 997 yet the Z responds to every situation as well at + 10legal speeds.

i think that it would be fair to say that for the dollar, the z06 is the best buy out there. the same can be said for the 430 hp c6. as everyone has mentioned, there has been some incredible deals on z06s. it rides and handles tremendously, has all the grunt and torque that you could get, plus just take it to your vette dealer to get it serviced-a true no brainer.

we'll than...i'm asking, can i get a ride? i'm not that far, and hell yes i'd drive to Conn for a ride in a gt2.

the last i read on the zr1...most people don't feel that it will sell itself, not when a person considers that it costs 115g, a person can get an aston vantage for around that, a 997t a lil more, and a 997 gt3 for a lil less. and an ACR viper for even cheaper. i personally like the car, but agree that it might not sell like chevrolet feels.

more personal question if you guys don't mind. what do you do for a living?

i'm only 21 and my dream is to be able to one day own a 911. but honostly i fear the 911 won't be around for much longer. i own an 87 944, and have had a 79 924. i love both cars, but i want the 911. i want the ability one day to walk into a dealership and order the car of my dreams(you all had that at some point in life. i look at your sigitures and see some of those cars, and flat out would love just a picture of the collection in a garage.

whyb2nd: Nice that you didn't have to give anything up to get the Corvette. That would be my preference, to have both. Somehow I don't think my wife would go along. Hey jpcourt, nice stable......All favorites of mine

The 427 rat motor is a marvel. Improved up spring in suspension, stronger drive line, and new steering box. I still can't part with the turbo, every time a take it out I realize why I love these cars so much, pure quality pure sport car.
