Turbo Due For Upgrades
Anyone have any insights into upgrades for the Turbo? The following was from Autoblog.

If the autoblog story is correct, they do refer to increased displacement - hence, ta ta GT1.
Personally, I'm guessing that the 3.8 turbo block will prove to have the same resiliency as the GT1. Maybe I'm just love blind with Porsche.

I wish the first person that tries to tune a 'consumer' grade Turbo engine lots and lots and lots of luck. They will need it.

i simply cannot believe that 20 horsepower increase would do anything whatsoever.....probably within the normal tolerances of the engine anyway....I would not hold off a year to purchase this car.....remember guys....life can sometimes throw you a curve ball....buy your dream car now!

I am holding my breath... I have a 2009 with an August 22 completion that I have thinking about for a long time. I have spent far more time than I care to admit making sure my specs are perfect. I will be so disappointed if they take away the GT1 engine/dry sump away next month. Guess we will see Saturday.
