spare equals weight, no thanks. I put a kit together of small air compressor, plugs, chalk, tools, scissor jack. copied the kit from my Z06.

Chris, give us some feed back on the car now that you hit 10K. Any rattles, fit/finish issues or warranty work done? I know the roads on LI and city can be unforgiven.

i have had my car 1 year-i have 12,000 miles on it and like chris, i put winter tires on it and drive it every day to work, as long as the snow isn't deep. to answer the previous questions-no rattles.

No rattles, runs like a scalded assed ape still. I got my snows mounted the other day. The only thing I've had is my 'spoiler failure' warning light has come on a couple of times in the last two weeks, but not consistantly, taking it in Friday for that, some electrical/computer bug I'm sure. Fit/finish is still great, no complaints at all. It does use about a qt of oil every 2k miles, no smoke, runs great, best car I've ever had. If I was doing it all over again, I'd get more interior leather peices......

I just bought an '04 that had 275 miles on it, and the prior owner took a huge depreciation hit anyways! Drive it!!

Oh my gosh! Why have the car if its just going to sit - that is crazy! No more warranty either. After reading all this I have made a firm decision to get rid of the daily driver as soon as the TT arrives! Thanks Everyone!

With a spare, I could change the tire and be on my way.
and what spare would you carry? a front or a rear?
