WG, both systems sound awsome. If it were just up to me, I'd keep the gen 3's, but with the wife and all, the gen 2/quiet is just fine. Make no mistake, it is significantly louder than stock.

FWIW - BB has a 997TT exhaust available now, (it is not posted on their website yet). The pricing was in the Fabspeed range, part number FPDOR-0880.

www.bbexhaust.com.

I had one of their units on my 1997 M3. Apparently Billy Boat (BB), started out making Porsche exhausts. He's got a clip of one of his systems on a 996TT.

This will be the best fit for the TT. The 2008 GT2 will have it from the factory.

Can you imagine what that PSE will cost?

These are all nice, but if you're looking for a no messing around, ***** to the wall power exhaust, check out the bbi autosport exhaust. They're out of Huntington Beach. Fantastic product.

BB exhaust is notoriously loud on most cars. Installed them on my wifes 2000S as a surprise a few years ago, when she heard the interior res she cried. I went back to stock the next day and saved the couch from extra wear.

Jeff and Brian (GHL) are not associated with BB in any way, I know for a fact. At this point I'm not in the market for exhaust, if/when that time comes I will prolly look at FB and any other quality exhaust that will deliver a deep sound with no interior res.......and make power, DYNO #'s please!

I think the BB quality is great...but you're right, the interior drone is horrible. I've had their exhausts on a C6 and a 350Z and the resonance was really bad. You'd think I'd learn. However their new ads seem to imply that they've done something about it on the 997 offerings - anyone report yet on this?

I have the Cargraphic TUV Sound and there was a drone for the first 1,000 miles but it is gone now and they sound awesome and with RS Tuning design you are certain of the 25 HP gain being there.

I owned an '06 C2, I had a PSE system installed and was happy with the sound. Not sure if an answer to the following question will help, but here goes. Can anyone compare the sound levels of the PSE to other systems on NA cars? Maybe apples to oranges, but might give some useful info.
