Default Performanca data of my 550HP RUF 997TT TIP

Hi everyone !

This afternoon I picked up my 997tt TIP with the 550 HP kit installed. This is the FIRST turbo TIP with this kit installed.

So far I can say, it is a beast !

550 HP (at least ! Probably around 570 HP)
780 NMs at 2500 rpm.

Just came back from my first test. Here is the first performance data, all measured by the performance box.

Outside temp 17 degrees C., road dry.

All on normal roads, which are not perfectly flat, even and have a relatively rough surface. Oh, and no tricks or other performance enhancing 'techniques'. All standard driving, as one would do every day. (Except perhaps 0-100 which was with torque-braking)

0-100 km/h: 3.4 secs
100-200 km/h: 7.1 secs
200-250 km/h: 5.9 secs

So that makes:

0-200 km/h: 10.5 secs

and

0-250 km/h: 16.4 secs

I think these can be improved a little, on a cooler day, with less humidity and on a proper track.

Will post some pics and vids tomorrow.

Enjoy.

Can we assume this was installed in Ruf Germany and not Texas (Nm and kph led me to this)?
Those are some great performance figures for sure: the latest GT Purely Porsche figures for the TT (6Speed) included a 0-150 mph time of 19.0 secs compared to your 0-155 mph 16.4 secs. Wow.

When you say the "performance box," what device are you referring to?

He lives in Germany - don't think Dallas has it yet.

Yes, it was installed in RUF Germany.

Performance Box by racelogic, a GPS device to measure the performance. Pretty accurate.

Very impressive! Would be interesting to see you 0-300 kph figures. Stock is 40 sec, Digitec stg II is 33.6 sec, CGT is 33.x seconds

Lulu, Those 0-300kph are very good numbers as well!

Would it be possible for you to post a jpg from the full run? I sent you a Private message and would love to have the raw data to analyze it (I could post the graphs for you as well) if you don't mind.

The numbers seem to be in line with a true 550BHP on a Tip. Have you done any weight savings or other aerodynamic changes to the car besides engine work.?

Thanks

17C is dreamy weather for these cars. I would love to see what the IAT's are with a 17C ambient condition. If you have a CAN+ compatible scanner (about $100 on eBay) you can read and log that as well as your fuel trim and O2 sensor data. Jean do you have the millivolt conversion table for the O2 sensors to AFR?

Eclou,

No idea really what the values are set for the factory ECU. I would think 0-5V and 9-18 AFR respectively as min/max values, but it is a wild guess.

JasonAndreas is your man, I am sure he has the answer.
