Default Finally got my perfect car!

Waited 4 months, sold the 997S then the M5 and couldn't be happier. This car is amazing - even below 4200 rpm. My first attempt at posting pictures...

Yes, Jason- RS wheels, thanks to you for giving me the idea. I like the turbo wheels on darker color cars but like the GT3 wheels better on the white cars. Shows off the brakes better too.

Very nice. The RS wheels are going to be alot more popular now that the GT2 has adopted them. The GT2 brochure mentions they are very light - makes me wonder if the GT2 wheel is a different build than the GT3/RS wheels

That is awesome...I really do like the GT3 wheels. Really conveys a sporty feel. Agreed about the Turbo wheels looking better on darker cars.

Appreciate all the advice- maybe Porsche has planted some of you. If they were smart they would. I added lots of options from Rennlister recommendations and have no regrets. Quick question- the short shifter feels a little stiff compared to the demo one I drove. Anyone know if it loosens up with use?

Congrats!! The RS wheels look really nice on your car. Were you able to order the wheels through the dealer or did you buy them separate? And if you don't mind, can you tell us how much they cost? Last time I quoted was around 3k for the RS set.

Thanks.

Very nice car. The shifter def loosens up a bit, mine feels fine, but I had one in the 996.

Thanks guys. I got the RS wheels through the dealer. I initially contacted Wheel Enhancements (great co. btw) and they quoted $4,000 for the RS wheels and $1500 trade in for the turbo wheels ($2500 + shipping) and the dealer did better than that.
