Default feedback on rennworx wheels?

i'm probably going with rennworx wheels on my 997tt. they're forged, well priced (~$4k) and light.

does anyone have experience with them?

i'll confirm the specs tomorrow but i think they are:

- frt 19x8.5, 51mm offset, 20lbs
- rr 19x11, 55mm offset, 23lbs (update - correct offset is 47mm)

(update - spacers not needed) i'd like to see less offset in the rears and may have to run spacers.

how much do 10-15mm spacers weigh?

I always thought the 5-spoke wheel was great looking...but check with the guys at Wheel Enhancement - I seem to remember Rennworx stopped production on on the 5-spoke - don't know about the other.

The weight of the spacer is going to have a negligible effect since it is so close to the axis of rotation. I'd worry more about the weight of the tires you put on

my dealer said Bill at rennowrx can get either style of wheel. they're currently out of stock for 997tt fitments but delivery is about 30 days.

thanks, you're right. given the wheels are lightweight, i was hoping to maintain that benefit. i really like the GP7 wheels but don't really want to wait 3 months for them or leave a 100% deposit.

Consider the Nees QD5 instead. These wheels look PHENOMENAL and are super strong, forged and lightweight.

Default updated specs

front
19x8.5, 51mm offset, ~20 lbs

rear
19x11, 47mm offset, ~23.5lbs (no spacers needed)

other
- accepts tpms
- comes with caps and accepts porsche oe
- std colors are silver or black; extra charge for other colors
- both styles are available

sounds like we can get a bit less offset if they have not been made yet.

btw, stock offsets are 56mm front and 51mm rear.

Are these the specs for the Neez QD5? The offsets you show are a little different than what their literature shows.

No, I think those are the specs for the Rennworx wheels.

no, my post above are for for rennworx.

you reminded me that was some pdf file on eisenhaus' site with specs on the qd5. it seems to me the qd5 are more suited to narrow-body cars. their specs are:

19x8.5 +46mm offset ( probably a little too agressive for front wheels)
19x11 + 60mm offset (will need 10-16mm spacers for wide body fit)

Let us know if you get more info on these wheels. With the offsets you mentioned, you could put a 5mm spacer on the front and have the wheels both front and rear at +4mm.
