Gentlemen, I had to laugh out loud when I read this thread...this is my first post and I have a new GT silver / black at the dealer as we speak. It arrived at the dealer Monday (12/18 build) and I am having the dealer install clearcoat, passpot srx, and sirius satellie radio while it is there. So, after four months of waiting I am so close I can taste it! The sirius unit won't be delivered until Thurs. or Fri. but I'm not sure I can wait another minute.

It only took 20 days from your build date to delivery?

I'm going nuts as well. I have a build date of January 18th with a late February delivery date, but I can't wait that long. So, I'm looking to buy one right away. I found one from an Alabama dealer that just had a Turbo completed on January 9th, I could have it by the first week of February. There is another one coming this week that is from a local dealer, but they want over sticker.

Brown61, what type of sirus setup are you using?
Max, if you already have a Jan build on a car exectly to your specs, I'd wait it out, 1 or 2 more weeks is nothing at this point.

Fellas, the wait will be worth it. The car is that good. You'll just prize her all the more for the experience

It did indeed only take 20 days. It was on the boat within a couple of days of the build date and in Brunswick 1-06. At the dealer in Atlanta on 1-08. The boat ride takes a little under two weeks.

So, if I have an April build can I expect to see it in May? I'll freak if it goes into June

That's the key right there. Mine was built around Dec 22 and missed the next two boats. Finally hitched a ride on Jan 8 and was told it'll be about 2 weeks. Talk about the fever!

C4S Surgeon, I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know exactly what unit the dealer is installing for the Sirius. They have done 9 installations so far without any problem. I'll post you when I find out.

I have been waiting since July and couple of more weeks feels like months to me, but the real reason why I'm not waiting for my ordered turbo to be delivered is that I ordered a tip and I have since changed my mind to a manual.

That's a good reason.

Think I need some meds. Is there a doctor in the house?
