Default TT Fever, I got it BAAAAAAAD!!!

My car was to be built in April, now it will be a bit sooner they tell me, but I don't know if I can wait any longer!
Drove by the dealer the other AM on the way to work, those bastards were unloading 4 new TT's.
I WANT MY CAR!

Chris, you and me both. I drove to PA on Sunday to "spend some time" with a Slate TT (thanks to Ken here for his hospitality). How much sooner are you getting it? I already asked my dealer to do whatever they could to get it sooner. Not sure it will happen though.

BTW, I stopped by Roslyn the day after you posted about the 4 TT being unloaded and asked to see them - they looked at me like I had six heads!

(sent you a PM on 6speed)

Well the truck was stopped with 4 tt's on it, maybe they just dropped off 1 and took the rest elsewhere else?
They just told me to expect it a little earlier than planned.

I dropped by my dealer today, I may get mine 30 days ahead of schedule.
I also added the sport shifter as they are available again. Saw a brand new SY TT all wrapped in plastic fresh off the truck, pretty sweet.

C4S,

Hang in there, buddy. It is worth the wait. I waited 7 months, and had to endure turbo withdrawal after my previous car was sold. I, too, was able to get a build slot one month ahead of schedule and that took the edge off a little. You'll be getting yours just in time for nice-weather driving.

To the other Chris (E55AMG):

Glad to be of help. Hope you were able to get what you needed. BTW, again let me say how cool it was to see my car driving along side me. Damn! I don't care what the naysayers think, I think that car looks GORGEOUS from any angle, stock wheels and all!

We owners have all been through the anxiety. However, it is worth the wait and too, Porsche is good about delivering on time. Mine was on the exact date promised when I got a slot about 3 months before it showed up at the dealer.

Yeah man...tell me about it. I am losing it already. Seems like a never ending wait...every Porsche I see makes me nuts...doesn't matter if its a Cayenee, Boxter or 911...they all make me nuts.

When mine arrives (and it better be soon)...feel free to come over to Jersey...DocJackson lives one town over...I will be more than happy to let you take a spin...and I would bet Doc would as well.

My wife went to Jericho this weekend and it took her under an hour...

Consider it done.
I'll even supply the beer (albeit AFTER you drive my car!)
