Default First time on the Track

I spent over 5 hours on the Track today driving the new TT .. The car is incredible, i will admit i am a GT3 guy for the track, but this car is very very capable track car. The power band is fantastic, very smooth and predictable the shocks are a little soft for my taste even in the sport mode. Turn in is surprisinly planted. under heavy braking the the car got a little squirly but I expected that, 150 to 60 mph car stoped as fast as the GT3 but just a little looser. I am running Pagid Yellow all the way around with 19" Pilot sport cups,

the turn in is fantastic no noticable understeer point the car and go. the AWD is firm feeling under hard cornering the car pulls you into the turn. i would like to have had -1 to -1.5 camber on the car. but the power easily made really pushed you through.

i was very surprised how well the car handled itsefl on the track. needs more exhaust note way to quiet but over all i was very surprised by the car.

try the cars on the track i think you will be very pleased with your investment

Dude, I hate you I'm on a 18 month wait list and you're already hot lapping at the track. Sounds like you had a great time, I can't wait to do the same. In the meanwhile I'll live vicariously on rennlist.

It's a Porsche! What did you expect? I'm amazed that people think the new TT wouldn't be good on the track.

No break-in period?

I agree as well a car is meant to be driven.
