Plug and Play Upgradable Speakers/Vendor
Has anyone worked with a vendor or products that are plug and play audio speakers for Porsche? I've had 2 different M3's that have had vendors that offer plug and play upgraded speakers for models. Been searching for my 997 Turbo and not having any luck with Google.
What I'm essentially looking for is speakers that are better than Bose OE and don't require any special wiring and/or amp upgrade.

I’d be curious about this as well. IMO, the Bose speaker systems are absolute garbage with terrible frequency range. Both my 997TT and Macan have the Bose and the midrange is either nonexistent or too high…I can’t get the levels dialed in at all. I often just keep the radio off and listen the the 997TT flat six do it’s thing, which is always music to my ears 😁

Focal offers kits for 992, but for 997 they are not available.
Many of mix and match speaker options, which some claim work well with OE HU and amp.

Per that gigantic thread ^^ I had a full set of Focal drivers as well as Dynamat professionally installed years ago and then swapped the rear sub box drivers myself. I can look up the part numbers if that may help but they could be NLA now. Factory head-unit and amp and everything looks completely stock except I put the Focal logos on the speaker grilles replacing Bose.
I found it did make a super noticeable improvement but was a pretty costly project, and seems the factory BOSE amp cannot quite drive the speakers optimally. TBH lately when driving this car I quite often just turn off the stereo and listen to the Mezger + Europipe.

To further this deep deep rabbit hole:
There are DIY solutions to replace just speakers, but don't go high end as these will demand too much power from the Bose amp. Might get lucky!
Ideally, ditch the fibre optic mess and get a high quality output from a HU to an amp / DSP. Do drivers then or later.
Or, simply soundproof your doors, and optimize tire noise, for a 40% improvement

yeah thread is gigantic and everyone has different viewpoints and somewhat hard to follow. Please share what you have and I'd love to take a look based off your personal experience. I'm not expecting to go cheap out but if the price is too high for decent speakers than I'll pass. Labor wise I'm more of a DIY guy so hope to save a few bucks there
Main drivers are Focal ISN100 and ISS200
