Default ESmotor/ AIM 4.0 Liter Built Motor/ 991/997.2 Turbo / 9A1

In the event some of you 997.2 Turbo gents are looking to skip the waiting line. Drop and Play.
I have For sale: Fully built bottom end, Carrillo rods, CP pistons, Sleeved block, 4.0 liter engine from my 2012 997.2 turbo S, Same engine in a 991 turbo FYI. Making currently 900whp + All it needs is ported cylinder heads for 1100+. Engine as is now is good for roughly 1000 whp which is plenty for a lot of folks. Currently has stock heads, head studs and OEM gasket. I’m going a different direction with my build so decided to sell. Have invoices and this engine is drop and play, no wait time, no shipping overseas, this is your chance to get an engine from the most reputable Porsche engine builder at the moment, no doubt. Asking $38K, a simple engine core would run you $20K FYI. This is entire engine and build. Any questions please send me a message. Thanks.
PS. Transmission is not for sale.

How usable are these on daily/weekly driven cars in terms of oil consumption, thermal envelope, and longevity? 1khp and added displacement probably require some adjustment to the control stack, which i suppose could fall into either the "dropping" or "playing" category.
Seems my membership level doesnt permit me to send private messages, or am simply not seeing the relevant link between the various ads :-\. Would like to know more about the engine/build though, what's been done to it (both in terms of abuse and resistance to such), what's needed to support it, etc.

This build is very usable as a daily. I actually drive the car to and from work about 3/x times a week. No issues. Oil consumption is normal, I have had no trouble with it. Car behaves as a modified car and perhaps even stronger. This is a reliability build. Hence why previous owner who had engine built decided to keep stock top end etc. Not what I would have preferred but understandable since he was looking for 1000 whp. This engine needs nothing to run properly other than a tune to drop in a 991 or a 997.2. Could run on stock ECU or Syvecs if you decide to do manifold and 12 injectors.

Engine specs are as follows from Invoice:

-ESmotor Carrillo spec rods
-ESmotor pistons
-ESmotor Liners
OEM bearings and gaskets
OEM head studs

Let me know if any questions.

Did you have to upgrade your PDK to handle this? Is methanol recommended?

Yes, you need a Dodson clutch upgrade. This car has an 8 Plate instead of the typical 10 plate since this was a mild build.

Methanol, yes you need big Jets to supplement fuel since this set up is ideal for someone running stock ECU and stock fuel system. Should do 950+ WHP easily.

Anything is possible. I had a guy wanting to put it in a 964 in Australia. He did his research and decided not to. I dont know if it would work but if you could put an LS engine in there why not a porsche engine. I quite sure you will have to go standalone. But of course as I always tell everyone "do your research". I think everything is possible with a willing mind and a good shop/fabricator.

Please see build sheet. I could try to see if there are some videos of car running or dyno. AIM must have some. Whoever buys this engine will certainly get a leakdown/ compression test to assure engine is in good health. This build is fairly fresh.
