ESmotor/ AIM 4.0 Liter Built Motor/ 991/997.2 Turbo / 9A1
In the event some of you 997.2 Turbo gents are looking to skip the waiting line. Drop and Play.
I have For sale: Fully built bottom end, Carrillo rods, CP pistons, Sleeved block, 4.0 liter engine from my 2012 997.2 turbo S, Same engine in a 991 turbo FYI. Making currently 900whp + All it needs is ported cylinder heads for 1100+. Engine as is now is good for roughly 1000 whp which is plenty for a lot of folks. Currently has stock heads, head studs and OEM gasket. I’m going a different direction with my build so decided to sell. Have invoices and this engine is drop and play, no wait time, no shipping overseas, this is your chance to get an engine from the most reputable Porsche engine builder at the moment, no doubt. Asking $38K, a simple engine core would run you $20K FYI. This is entire engine and build. Any questions please send me a message. Thanks.
PS. Transmission is not for sale.

How usable are these on daily/weekly driven cars in terms of oil consumption, thermal envelope, and longevity? 1khp and added displacement probably require some adjustment to the control stack, which i suppose could fall into either the "dropping" or "playing" category.
Seems my membership level doesnt permit me to send private messages, or am simply not seeing the relevant link between the various ads :-\. Would like to know more about the engine/build though, what's been done to it (both in terms of abuse and resistance to such), what's needed to support it, etc.

Methanol, yes you need big Jets to supplement fuel since this set up is ideal for someone running stock ECU and stock fuel system. Should do 950+ WHP easily.

Anything is possible. I had a guy wanting to put it in a 964 in Australia. He did his research and decided not to. I dont know if it would work but if you could put an LS engine in there why not a porsche engine. I quite sure you will have to go standalone. But of course as I always tell everyone "do your research". I think everything is possible with a willing mind and a good shop/fabricator.
