interesting and pretty in depth....thanks for sharing. I guess it aligns with what we are seeing....manual 997.1 cars going up, but automatics not so much, but not going down either. Plus the high mileage cars going down in value as expected with Porsches.....It was interesting to see the higher mileage band on the turbo S cars going up through March 2021 though.

Feld, I'm in the same situation.

Manual GT3 or Touring?

I'm thinking 991.2 GT3 or Touring with the 6MT. I want to sell my 997.2 TT 6MT and wait for the GT3/Touring to drop in price.

That’s probably the only acceptable replacement I can think of, would like to drive a touring manual.

I prefer the Touring too; hear there's a huge premium right now...$20K to $30K? I will "put up" with the GT3 wing, LOL

We both know that this insane bubble will burst, just a matter of time. Smart thing to do is sell now and wait a bit. But then again what fun would that be....

Thanks for sharing. Great to see a fellow Dutchmen doing these depreciation analysis. If it were the European market, I would have contributed to the appreciation given the price I paid for mine in January. But my low mileage manual 997.1 is a forever car. Love it

Don't invest in cars. Buy them to enjoy them. If you make a little money or just lose less, great.

The only thing I would replace my 997.2TT manual with is a 997 GT2.

I can't think of anything to replace the 997 with... We need the back seats. Adding to the collection though with something aircooled sounds like a wonderful idea.

Hard to argue with that, no interest in GT3?

The GT2 is just more unique and special to me. Power is comparable to the Turbo, but more than the GT3. I love the wide body and more aggressive wing and vents.
