Hi,

I thought I would add one more car to this thread in case anyone is looking for a fantastic 997.2 TTS from a meticulous dealer in the Seattle area - https://cvluxurycars.com/2011-porsch...k-miles-87995/

Nathan was very helpful in my search even after I decided to go a different direction and I look forward to buying a car from him at some point in the future. At $87,995 with 34k miles and extensive sale prep, this car is a better deal that anything else in my research. I bought the RAC car because the sport seats are a must have for me and I really like the combo of factory aero and the mods the car had. If Nathan's car had the sport seats which just fit me a lot better, I would have picked this up before it had a chance to hit the market.

It’s because it also has ventilated seats. Most if not all of those cars did not have sports seats if they have the ventilation option.

you can't get cooled seats with the sport adaptive seats only heated

lol. Isn't that what I was saying?? LOL

That's what I think, but I read someone on here say there are actually very very few that were sold with sport adaptive with ventilation.. Not sure that's true, hence me typing, "Most if not all" ...

Pretty sure TT Surgeon has mentioned he managed to get vented sport seats, but it was pretty expensive and basically a custom CXX-type job that had to get approved in Germany.

That may be who I was thinking of. Sounds like it really wasn't an option and since so hard to get via custom order, might as well say they aren't really out there.

ventilated seats are pretty nice. I do wish that I had matching painted back seat covers.

I had ventilated adaptive sport seats on my 991 Targa and they were great. For open top cars in the sun they are a huge bonus.

Wow to be able to get ventilated sport seats would be so awesome! I wonder how much that custom order would be from Porsche.

That said I'd take the adaptive sport seats over ventilated standard seats 1000 times over. The adaptive sport seats are some of the best stock seats I've ever been in!

On the side note, I purchased a 2011 997TT 6spd with under 11,000miles and extremely well spec'd back in July. That said, I'm in the Canadian market so the numbers will vary quite a bit with the US numbers.

Curious, is it possible for a US person to import a 997.2tt into the US yet? Or does it have to be 25yrs old before you can do so?

Importing from Canada to the US would be possible. Importing from another country would not be.

So tellus about the car you bought? Where was it at? I assume the deal is sealed and I'm thinking about another car.

I just started a thread on it that I’ll be posting to. Look for “Back in a 911” a few posts down.

One more thing: A thread on cars for sale is so helpful to Rennlisters. A sticky even better. The people here have their nose in it and it's really helpful.
