The indie (RMG) in CA who installed my EP1 said it was the highest quality aftermarket exhaust he had ever done. He has 30 + years experience.

Some of the vids here are very good.

So you have 2 choices.

Take our word for it and make the plunge.

Or wait till you can hear one in person. I was lucky back in the Bay Area, but may take you a while.

Anyone hoping for a group buy, you will only bring together a couple people. Like asking for a group buy on the next 4 pints of Belgian craft beer.

I had my Europipe installed by a local Porsche dealer back in April and it is no exaggeration to say it transformed my 2011 Turbo S. When you hit the gas, especially in Sport mode, it growls loudly and sounds amazing. When I go to pass someone, they know/hear it as I’ve now become that loud a-hole that I have always wanted to be . Seriously, the car now has a muscle-car sound that matches all its hp vs the tame sound that the standard Porsche exhaust produced. And the real nice thing about the Europipe is that if you're not in Sport mode and just cruising along at highway speeds (or really just low RPMs in any gear), it’s actually fairly quiet which I wanted. My wife would never drive with me if it was always loud. So really, at least for me, it’s the best of both worlds – quiet when I want it to be or sounding like a monster with just a press of the Sport mode button. Obviously the exhaust and the installation were somewhat pricey but it puts a smile on my face every time I drive.

This couldn't be more accurate, Installed the EP-2 last night, I took a short drive for a few exits zero drone!. Thanks to Steve who made a trip for me to hear it in person and sealed the deal.
This thing is a masterpiece.
Arrived 1 week after placing the order even with custom tips and the 76MM pipes.

Default Quad tips

What tips are these and where can I purchase? I’m ordering a Europipe exhaust for my 997 tt and would like this setup as well.

Thank you.

Stef makes them from the GT2 3" tips
The stock modified oval tips are not worth the price IMO.

Here are a couple low tech audio clips
I recorded these before work today with cold start , the short one was at work.
Very basic old cell phone with earbuds taped to the bumper.

You also get the turbo whistle as well. IMO it's the best exhaust out there. And if needed - probably the best resale.

Stef ships the unit with tools, hardware, high temp grease, etc. I installed mine myself. I took my sweetass time as well to make sure it was right (I'm no mechanic). I labeled everything I removed, cleaned everything inside and out, blew/hosed out the I/Cs, put it all back. Even did my plugs since it was accessible.

Also had my little sidekick working on his ride....
Steve, looks like you did the install yourself. How long did it take? Any tips you can share or is it a straight forward process? I just got my EP1 and trying to decide if I should attempt the install myself or pay Power Tech to do it. I've done exhausts myself before, but never on a 911. Looking forward to running into you again (not literally) on our nice back roads here in NNJ.

Stef would have sent you the installation instructions and tools required, the only unknown is the condition of the turbo bolts/studs. I sprayed mine with PB Blaster once a day after the EP-2 shipped made removal incredibly easy. All (8) studs came off as bolts the nuts were rusted to the studs.
Figure 3-4 hours.
Also helps to get a 6 sided 13MM boxed end.

Thanks. Stef emailed me the instructions over the weekend. Are there any special tools required? Looks like basic wrenches should do the job.

Nothing special, a 6 sided 13MM open end helps to break free the stuck bolts or nuts. This also avoids rounding off the heads when using the 12 sided wrench. Just go easy not to break them his instructions tells you how to remove them if they are stuck.
Spray the front and back sides of the turbos and the fitting into the exhaust manifold circled.
I sprayed only the fronts, the PB blaster worked all the way back over the 4 days waiting for FedEx.

I chose to remove the IC's to gain better access and doesn't add much time to the job.
