Stef calls the mini backfires "barking" do EP-1/or EP-1 owners hear that when shifting ?? are you hearing any turbo spool while reving from an idle or driving up to ~3K any higher RPM, the spool sound may be drowned out by engine noise.
Those are the two things that interest me the most.
The barking may also be a result of a stage 2 tune.
EP-2 owners is the narrow rev range drone tollarable? this is the way i'm currently leaning

I always recommend our EP1 as it is drone free while the EP2 has some between 2000 and 2600 rpm. That is up to 75 mph in 6th gear. Most customers don’t hear it or don’t mind but its there.
The EP2 is best on high hp engines with bigger turbochargers. Also with big turbochargers the drone is gone.
EP2 sounds somewhat louder compared to the EP1, the tone is deeper and the barking when you let off the gas is more pronounced.
You’ll get the best sound between 2000 and 3000 rpm with both exhausts. No need to go crazy and do 5000 rpm all the time. The loudness is boost related, the more you load the engine the higher the turbo boost and the louder the turbo whistling sound.

Y'all just need to Trust us and buy one!! lol
Seriously though... I'd offer you a money back guarantee If I could.
You'll love it. If you love good sound and still want a bit of stealth mode, buy the more silent one. If you like a little more sound, buy the louder version ( If you own a model where they make the two....For us 997.2 TT folks, it's just the one).

Yes EP2 has a deeper tone and I definitely hear the bark more.
I've always found this video did a good job of getting the sound and the 2000-3000 rpm range during the acceleration at ~45 seconds

A EP proud owner! I love it! From opening the box literally like opening a Rolex box! Extreme quality welds, beautiful fit and finish. Aesthetically beautiful like it was made by the Porsche factory. Best of all, no hemorrhoid look behind the rear bumper. Few vendors can match that fit and finish. I had a competitors and every cars and coffee I got asked, “Dude WTF is that hanging form your engine”. Had enough, called Stef and in 3 days had it in my front door.

Will be worth the wait! The tools themselves, I have used them many times. After your done, before you start it, apply WD-40 and wipe all your finger prints off. Use another microfiber and wipe it all dry. Let dry then get ready for a symphonic pleasurable experience of the likes you never listened to ever! Equivalent to Beethoven's Ninth Symphony!
