And more information....Just called the local Porsche dealer and they will order it for me. $149 for the 400ml spray can. I was in shock and said no I will look for another source. Then the price came down to $70 + tax which is 10% here. I said ok.... wow.
This product is called out in a service document as the lubricant to use for the turbo linkage ball connections. My car (997.2 TTS) has ~34k miles on it, I'm the 3rd owner and it has likely never had these items lubricated. As I mentioned earlier, I tried to order the WSP5040 from my local dealer here in Bellevue, WA. The parts guy was not able to help me until I found a legitimate PN for the product. I was able to do this with the help of a forum member. The price was quoted to me on the phone at $149 but after I said I will look elsewhere, he talked to his manager and the price came down to $70 which translates to $77 out the door here.
The part number has changed to 000.043.305.36. I attached a photo of the can is case it can help someone.
