Default 991 4S to 997 Turbo S

Hello guys, saw this beautifull black on black 2012 997 Turbo S with 16,000Km (10k miles) what a beast! not as refined as my 2014 991 4S but felt more "special" to me,
The thing is that the salesperson offered me the car as a trade for my 4S + US$15K, both same mileage and in pristine condition. I am trying hard not to justify the trade because its an older model, can you talk me out of this? or would you do it? thanks

The nearest Ive owned a 991 is my 15 GT3 PDK and my 997 TTS is still what I would pick for a daily driver. But that is me.

A TTS is still top dog even if you compare to a 991 C4S. Your 991 does not have torque vectoring, PCCB and dynamic engine mounts plus its electric steering.

But it boils down to what group you are really, are you a 991 or a 997 guy? No wrong answer.

991 4S- NO (nothing remarkable or noteworthy, just another 911 among many), 997 TTS - YES (everything and more, I'm biased)

Isn't a 9914S a turbo? How much is a ECU flash?

Which way is the cash going? I prefer 997 over 991 in almost all variants. Turbo S is a sweet ride.

Hmmm - how about, BOTH! So I love the PDK. Hands down the most fun of all the cars, for me. However, the TT is a must have. You can always take possession of another 991...my three cents.

997.2 TTS all day all night! Best car Porsche ever made period. 997.1---991.1.2 whatever it is FOGET about it. I particularly do not like the digital gauges in any of the 991 series.

Not unless it's a 991.2

I had a 991.1 4GTS and 991.1 TTS. I much prefer the looks, shorter wheelbase and driving dynamics of the 997.2 and the tech is essentially the same as in the 991.1 gen.

I *might* consider a 991.2 4S (new turbocharged engines) over a 997.2 Turbo, but a 991.1 4S vs. 997.2 Turbo is an easy decision. Turbo!

Is 2014 a .2 or .1? Too new of a car for me. Lost track after 997.1s.

I owned a 991 4S and a 997 Turbo. Dump the 4S, buy the Turbo and you'll never look back!!
