Default Bilstein B8 on perpetual back order

My plan was to pair bilstein b8’s w gmg springs. I like the idea of a fixed sport suspension that works w PASM.
So I bought the springs, motor mount (RS); and the B8s. But was advised at time of purchase that shipment would delayed
3-4 weeks.
i had X73 on my 996 turbo, and I think this would comparable.

problem is B8s have been back ordered since March, and now they’re saying they won’t be available until September.

Any comparable options? Price performance

Also waiting, not much you can do. I’ll just wait until September, not a fan of b16 coil overs.

Canceled Order from Summit and THMotorsports. Check w/ Gert @ Carnewal confirmed back-order until fall....

Late one night surfing web, found a new set of B8s in the UK. Here in days!! I paid a premium over Summit/THM but less than list.

From what I understand they are not making them at the moment. Limited capacity at the factory (or factories) and production for new car models is taking precedence.

That’s what I suspected. Nobody could give a firm date. Perhaps they will becomelike the 996 X73 (made by Bilstein), NLA.
