Yep, most ordered them with heat/vent only in comfort seats. I had to pull strings in Germany via the exclusive program to get heat/vent in adaptives, 6k option. Then I sold the car a yr later

Interesting to learn this was even an option (albeit exclusive), the best of both worlds but costly!

There was and still may be a 40k mile cabrio Turbo S in dark blue metallic with black/beige interior in La Jolla and a 40k mile black Turbo S coupe in Las Vegas, both for sale in the mid 80k's. The MSRP on the cab was $184k. Both appear to be in good shape from photos.

Different pricing on the East coast for sure. How much is the 40k service? CPO?

40K mile for mid 80's, and his car is 21k mi. So pricing would not be mid-80's. One is a cab.

That totally is not a apple to apple comparison.

But if you do some marginal comparison, for 20k less miles, 95 or more seem logical for his car.

My experience is if it does not sell at asking price, then asking price needs to be adjusted. Good luck, seems like a nice car.

This is a great looking car and I would expect a TTS to hold pricing. I think another thing going on is the pricing and availability of 991.1s, and even 991.2s- especially those just coming off of different leasing/financing programs- as well as the impending 992. And this isn't an opinion about which of these models are better or worse- it just is that there is more inventory in the market at, or near, price points that will compete with a 2011 TTS. Such adjacencies impact market dynamics. For my part, I'd rather have a '11 997.2 TTS over anything less than a 991TT.

I never compared a 40k mile car to a 20k mile car in terms of price point on an "apple to apple" basis. For pete's sake.

Since you wont agree that the OP price is in the ballpark, but admit that youve seen 40k mi cars for mid80s, i assumed then you are comparing and adjusting the miles/price. Why then to mention it?

My bad.

And like what i said earlier, 40k mi for mid80s, then 20k miles maybe mid90 to 100s.

This is an internet case study in putting words and arguments in someone else's mouth. In fact, I went out of my way not to take a strong position on the OP's price estimates for his car. A couple of posters asked where the mid $80k Turbo S's were for sale as they had not found such cars (I specifically said these cars had twice the mileage of the OP's car). I followed up with the specific information I had on mid $80k cars, and you respond with "I won't agree that the OP price is in the ball park." I never said the OP car's price estimate was not in the ball park. I suggested it might be a little high, which was echoed by other posters, but I avoided taking a strong position on it. Either you have a problem with reading comprehension or you inveterately put words in people's mouths. I wish the OP the best of luck and sincerely hope he gets his price.

Ive learned thru the years being a forum member of different forum not to insult people. If I dont have anything good to say, I just keep to myself.

First, as forum etiquette, you do not put down a listing of another member, especially a Rlist member if you think it does not fall onto to your liking or experience. Let me quote you,

" I can tell you that my personal view is I'd rather get the car with 40k miles that has been maintained than pay $20k more for the lower mileage car. " The guy is selling his car for goodness sake.

Then you insult me directly by saying I have problems with comprehension or I put words into your mouth.

Let me quote you again,

"I never said the OP car's price estimate was not in the ball park. I suggested it might be a little high, "
What exactly is that? Is this a contradiction? Im sorry but my english comprehension is alittle off today as it 100F here in texas and brains melt in this heat.

I would buy that car way before any 07-09 997.1 turbo if I didn't have one already. That is definitely the best iteration of the 997 turbo period! It's the perfect size turbo. All the new stuff is like the kardashian sisters. Big *** 991 cars. Not everyone likes a big ***. Slender is always better in the long run. Sorry got off on a tangent.

I dunno, more on point IMO. And yeah not everyone likes a Kardashian ***, although the 992 test cars that I've seen floating around the internet make the 991 look slim!!

FWIW, Porsche of Tysons Corner, VA has a rather ordinary (not a lot of options) 2011 TTS with 37K miles for $88k. It's dark blue with gray interior and has been sitting for a few weeks.
