Default What is the reason for lack of interest on TT

I have a nice '11 TTS for sale for awhile. I thought it would generate more interest than the responses indicate. What do you think would sell the car short of converting to a manual?
Is it priced right? I'm almost ready to take off the market and try later. Is the market slow or saturated for these?
Thanks for your input.

Hard to respond when one does not know mileage, color, options, cab/not cab...etc.

Short version is the mileage is 21k, black, coupe, PDK, MSRP 168k. Exc condition It's been posted and bumped for awhile. I didn't want to repost everything here that is in the classifieds. I was just wondering if maybe the market was a little soft or saturated. My price is down to low 100's.....Thanks.

I've been looking recently at 2007-2011 cars, as I've been thinking about dipping my toe back in the 911 waters. I test drove a 2007 tip about 2 months ago. I can tell you I've seen 2011 Turbo S cars (coupe and cabrio), in the low to mid $80k range. They have about double the mileage. I don't want to tell you that you are overpriced as that is your call. I can tell you that my personal view is I'd rather get the car with 40k miles that has been maintained than pay $20k more for the lower mileage car.

Forgot to add that there is CPO till Feb 2020 and new tires. I have seen a few advertised lower, but usually West coast. East coast seems to be asking a bit more. It's not really 20k more if someone is seriously interested. Dealer offered 85 buyback, so I would figured somewhere between his wholesale offer and my retail asking price is where the price should be. Thanks.

I don't follow Turbo S prices really but I'd have to assume that with it being peak sports car buying season and your ad having decent photos and copy, the price is just too high. Have you seen comparables selling for over $100k?

There are just a lot of Porsches, $100-150K on the market. You are in a very particular market. The right buyer is out there, but I believe there are many choices including all the new mosel GT3s

Is it a TT or TTS? Your photo appears to be a TTS. If it's a TT you may be overpriced. A TTS should be priced from $85-105K and that's very dependent upon a wide variety of options, colors, maintenance and etc. I know personally I wouldn't let mine go for less than $105K and that's high for the market.

I'm hoping the market isn't soft on the S models. I felt for sure the TTS would hold it's value, especially in the 997 model.

The coming years should tell.

I think your car at the current price with that Warranty is a freakin Steal!!

Great looking car, nice build, great condition.

I'd say lack of interested buyers is due primarily to price. Color may also play a part, as most people aren't willing to compromise on their first or second color choice on a car of that value.

I usually will keep my pricing opinions/analysis on rennlisters sales to myself, but you did ask for thoughts on price.

Your dealer is spot-on on wholesale price, but you are still $6-7K high compared to estimated dealer retail (though not necessarily Porsche dealer), and perhaps $9-12K high for private party retail.

Does your CPO and condition bump the price a bit? Sure, a little, but not as much as you are looking for. Could you sell it at or near your asking price? Might happen, but it will take the right buyer in the right location at the right time.

Manheim market report for your car:

I think the TTS will feel a lot more squeeze from 991 Turbo depreciation since you're already giving up the manual transmission.

Yes it requires a little extra work. With it covered and in the garage though it isn't all that bad for me.
