Speaking from personal experience you've made an excellent choice and will enjoy it for many years to come.

Yes sir. PCCB's, Active engine mounts, Torque vectoring, Sport adaptive seats, sport chrono, and all sorts of other things are standard on the Turbo S.
Plus it has a few extra options (Rear park assist, heated seats, carbon package, clear tail lights, XM radio, door pocket and rear foot well lighting, etc.).

Thank you very much. I fully intend to Thank the Good Lord every time I get in it. I'm truly Blessed.
However, I work a lot to pay for my addictions / toys, so it will be special occasions when I get to drive it.

Did a quick wash yesterday so it's cleaner than it was in my first pics.

My Parents approve as well

Congrats! Great looking car! Did you recently pick up your 996TT, or have you had it a while? For some reason I feel like you got that 6 months or so ago.

Ha!! Nope!
Bought it Feb. 17th, 2018
Sold it April 24th, 2018
Netted a health profit, so it was a no brainer.

I went from the 07 Cayman in Nov. 10th, 2017, to the 996TT, and now to the 997.2 TTS on April 19th, 2018.
I tend to be a fanatic when I find a new hobby / interest. (Always loved Porsche, was just into other things).

What tires did you end up installing on the new TTS?

Your new ride sure looks nice.

I was hoping for PCCBs and centerlocks too but it put me out of my budget by $15,000.

Well done Big Swole!!!

Well done Big Swole!!!

The previous owner and / or dealer chose to put on the Mich. PS2's. I had no say really since the previous owner was paying the bill for 3 of them. I just paid for the 4th (driver front) so I'd have a car with a brand new set. I kept the one good front (looks to be 70% or better).

Thank you Sir! I do love the wheels and PCCB's. Amazing!

Very nice.

That's what I had on my Carrera 4S. They were great, you'll love them.

I hope the PS4S has the same sidewall and look as the PS2S. If so, I'll be a very happy camper.

(I really like the sidewall and asthetic of the PS2S)

We have the same taste when it comes to exterior and interior finishes on these cars.

Congrats on the TTS!

Very nice upgrade - Its amazing the transformation from the 996 model to 997.2 and even 997.1. I love the color combo - If it was me I would go get the wheels powder coated black - man that car would pop (not that it doesn't already with the tint).

Curious your thoughts going to a PDK now. I had a 991.1 with the PDK and to me it was almost too perfect and reversed back to 997.1.

Well the "new" hasn't worn off yet with the car / PDK. I'm sure it will a bit, but given how I feel about it now, I fully expect to still love it for a while. However, I WILL miss a 6MT for sure. I'm old school and LOVE to shift manually.

The "sport" mode in the PDK is pretty awesome for even just street driving. The auto blips on the downshift when just slowing down to a light or stop sign is pretty cool. Plus the Exhaust note opens up with "sport" mode too.

I did two launches in "sport plus" using launch control last night for my GF. She loved it and giggled for a while. It makes me feel like I'm doing something "Wrong" and hurting the car by doing it though. lol
Even the mechanic at the dealer that I rode with prior to purchase said, " Porsche built it into the car to use. I don't view it as abusing the car". So I guess it's okay to use every once in a while.

I'll only do it when I take someone for a ride that can handle it. lol Otherwise, just driving it in "sport" mode really is exciting for me.

Now, as a power junky, I'm already wondering what a good tune / pdk tune could do for the car. I'm a "drag racer" at heart, so more and more power has always been in my nature. But I don't want to do ANYTHING that could be viewed as "Harmful" or would in any way reduce the value and/or potential buyers when the time comes for me to sell it.

Anyway, I think it'll be a while before I get "bored" with the PDK. If anything, I'll look for a higher mile / lower cost Cayman S 6MT to purchase as my "run around" car to fulfill my manual desire.

The PDK is best suited for a turbo, more so an S.

I approve too!

Way to keep the faith on the 3 pedals!

I wish I could take a cruise with my girlfriend... She screams when I take a corner at 40 mph and then almost throws up...

Oh well.

ENJOY the TTS!!!

I would get the Europipe exhaust and call it a day. You want an exhaust the fits neat and tucked just like the stock one. I personally do not like exhausts that have that hanging look. It's a beautiful car and amazing quality. Like I said, best 997 turbo platform period!

Ha!! LOL
Hope she learns to enjoy it more, but some women / people just don't like the feel or possibly being out of control. They don't understand what todays cars are capable of.

Thanks brother!!

Maybe you missed it, but I do have the Europipe. It came on the car. The first owner had it installed at around 3500-4000 miles. I LOVE the sound and look. VERY high quality stuff.
Thank you Sir!!

I agree I should probably just leave it alone and have fun with it. Modding is SO hard to resist sometimes. Power is like a drug addiction (not that I know about that...seriously..lol Never even smoked weed before..lol ).
