Friend in Springfield VA w/997.1 Turbo and 993 Turbo is looking for a great mechanic
Hello folks. My buddy in Springfield VA is looking for a great mechanic for his 2 cars. He's been through a bunch of independents in his area in Northern VA that were pretty disappointing overall. I told him I use Silver Spring MD Porsche now since I went through the same issues over the years and are happy with them at the moment.
He asked if I could post for him if anyone had a SPECIFIC MECHANIC at a dealer in Alexandria or Arlington Porsche they go to that they're thrilled with? Or, is there really a great independent shop anywhere in his general area? He's actually thinking of going all the way to Philly to this great shop that did his PPI but I said that's crazy, I'd help him in this regard.
Thoughts?
(for official Porsche content I post the pis of his car after he got it 2 years ago and mine together in a garage)

I only trust EuroService Automotiive (euroserviceauto.com) in Warrenton, VA (highway 28 outside of Manassas).I've known them for a long time (they worked on my BMW's, MB's and Porsche's) and I've always been very satisfied with their work. I highly recommend them and Rod is the best mechanic you'll ever come to know and trust.

What kind of service is required? I think it really depends on what is needed since any shop can do minor work. Major work requires some experience and talent on a particular model.

Thanks for the replies! I'm running all this by him. Not sure where pics of his 993 Turbo are though... someone in my millions of pictures I guess. Just got back from the S Pole so I'm totally exhausted, I'll keep this reply short.
