Yep I went too heavy. I made sure it was all thoroughly covered. Thanks for the tips gentlemen

And yeah it really is easy to pull off if anyone is on the fence about trying it and really does leave no residue or weird effects on the paint.

I followed the Youtube video and mine came out great! I first used red but it was not the right shade of red so I peeled it off and finished it in black. The key is light coats.

I did my front grills also. They are surprisingly resilient. Three and a half years, and I have only R/R once since the first go-round.
