Best method of cleaning track rubber off of front of car?

Mother's R3 is okay, but I've found that 3M adhesive remover works way better. It removes the rubber marks like a marker from a dry erase board, and I haven't noticed any issues in my paint or clear bra. I've been using it for years and found it at my local Auto Zone.

After many hours spent cleaning rubber off of the cars, the method that I found to be most effective and effortless is to spray the area liberally with Mothers R3 and let it sit for a couple of minutes and then rub the area down with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax liquid. This doesn't require scrubbing for even the most difficult spots.
I have also found it is a lot more fun putting the rubber on the car than getting it off. ;-)

Liquid Performance is by far faster and better than Mothers RRR. http://www.liquidperformancedirect.c...uct-p/0893.htm Does not leave a greasy film to clean off like WD40 which also works very well. My two go to products. WD 40 on non painted surfaces like wheels and wheel wells and then LP for areas that show.

Yes, but the rubber will outgas and become hard like you say. if the rubber has been on a while, just let the goo gone soak on the rubber a bit or wet a paper towel with it and set that on the affected area. it should wipe with minimal scrubbing after that.
Im sure many guys on this forum do this but bring some solvent/goo gone to the track with you and thoroughly wet a microfiber with it after you've packed up and called it a day. Then, take five minutes and wipe off the track rubber. You can clean and wax later. The rubber is freshest then and comes off like nothing.
