Is the side delete used valved ones with two pipes into center muffler, or single pipe version?
Will this muffler drone like OEM below 3k if single pipe side delete is used?

Drone is controlled through the upper longer chamber in the muffler. So valved side deletes are required to eliminate drone with the OEM muffler or the Dundon GT3 Center Muffler

Thank you. Will have to get the valved type then and replace my single pipes.

This is just a general question.
Do you happen to have data on temperatures of engine, engine bay, exhaust system ? I would assume the more baffled an exhaust is - the more it affects temperatures internally in the motor and externally, at least from my experience w/ Turbo charge cars.

I use cobb accessport for dataloging.
I think the engine bay really doesn't suffer from exhaust.

Exhaust is really underneath, well ventilated and I don't think it can change anything to engine bay temperature.

911 is a car with a very special conception.

Intake manifold and exhaust manifold cannot talk to each other and doesn't belong to the same ereas.

We've looked at EGT and modeled EGT on the dyno, with Race Headers, lower than stock, with our catted system lower than stock, OEM muffler and Our mufflers no difference.

Race version is complete and testing on my 991 GT3, verified fitment on both 997.1 and 997.2 for the Street (quiet) and the Race version. Will get some videos up of our Race Headers and Race Muffler from our 991 GT3, and will be back at the track this week. Finalizing the tip design and reconfirming production qty part costs getting ready to release to Production!

This is what is happening, 100mm with a slight angle cut (what we call slash cut). They will be removable and swappable to turn away pipes for both mufflers (no idea why you'd use turnaways on a race muffler).

This sounds like a great solution for that irritating center muffler problem. I would like to get on your delivery list for the "race" model (Hopefully there will be no big surprises re pricing). I drive a modified 2007 997.1 GT3 dedicated track car with both side mufflers deleted and stock size dual entry exhaust pipes each side of the OEM center muffler. The 100mm angle cut tips are ok with me. Please let me know when you have firm pricing available. Email garyever1@gmail.com and/or call gary 541.400.0330

Any existing Dundon Header customers contact me.

Again to summarize:

Louder than OEM (Black)
Quieter than OEM (Orange) options
Lifetime Guarantee
4" tips in PVD Black
Optional Turnaways at additional cost for the track guys.

Maybe I missed a reply. What were the results for this? Did you also get a reading with your headers?

In our testing we saw 10-12dB reduction at the ridge. From 104 with the OEM muffler down to 92-93 with the Orange (Quiet) Center Muffler. The all 4 cars that were tested passed at Laguna. 2 997' GT3's one with side mufflers one with side deletes. And 2 991 GT3 again one stock and one with side deletes all passed at 92dB.

no guarantees that your car will pass Laguna, but all the testing we've seen does pass.
