Picked up my first GT3 after several Caymans (including a GT4) as well as regular 99s6 and 997s. Haven't had a chance to drive it other than around the neighborhood, looking forward to getting to know it.

Thanks! Haven't been able to get it up on the lift yet due to my other project but from what I can see it has a full (headers, side muffler by pass and center muffler) M&M (FVD) exhaust system. From my very short drive I think this is going to be a bit LOUD for street driving (sounds great though). I did get OEM side mufflers with the car so I may try putting those back. Any suggestions? Get some good ear-plugs?
Also looking for a set of track wheels, is the consensus that 18in is the preferred size?

Yes, consensus is 18" wheels are optimal for track.

Congrats on the purchase it looks fantastic. Everyone has a different perspective of loud, but suggestion would be to wait a few weeks/months before putting OEM side mufflers on. Side muffler added weight and heat wasn't worth it for me. If it's unbearable after awhile you can still change back. You might grow to enjoy it, I did. The biggest advantage is the wife refuses to get in it because of noise, perfect....

Was also able to hook up my durametric and was happy to see it has no over-revs in the higher ranges (a bunch of 1s and a handful of 2s).
What's a normal oil pressure reading? Mine's frequently up around 5.

18s are prefered size because there are more tire choices. you will be faster on 19s w/ same rubber. many more rubber choices available in our 19 size this year... almost worth the switch to 19s now.

Very cool, looks like a lot of fun.
As you surmised, putting the OEM side mufflers back on is not a bad way to lesson the noise to a more wife/neighbor-friendly sound. It'll still sound amazing with the headers and center section.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I decided to get a new set of wheels for the street and use the OEM (black) wheels for the track. Ended up finding a great deal on some OZ wheels. Installed new TPMS sensors but somehow I can not display the values on the gauge. There is no fault light and the pressures are available using Durametric. All settings I've been able to find are set to TPMS on, any ideas on how i can get my display back?
