2nd GT3 should I
Recently bought 997.2 and looking to get another w/higher miles to keep miles down on my unicorn. Million dollar question is should i part with my 993 cab for another 997.2?

Yes, but I'm not a cab man (unless we're talking wine)

A bit of variation is always fun,
The grey one is by far the most fun. I drive it like the wheels will fall off.
4.0l is a weekend street toy.
993tt aircooled is for DD and taking kids to school and the only Porsche my wife likes.
996rs is always parked. Car I bought because I´ve always loved 996gt3s. A real collectible.

The idea is to keep the unicorn in the bubble wrap. Correct? You buy something different, then your more likely to put miles on the unicorn.
I'd suggest getting another 997.2 GT3 and play. Heck go with a stripper and take it to the track. Unicorn for CC.

I have not reached a point in my life where I have the luxury of owning a lot of cars at any given time. With that in mind, I can't justify something that doesn't get driven. I personally would either drive the unicorn as you want to or sell it and buy one that you will drive.
I also feel variety is a great thing! If you can afford another gt3, why not consider a really nice air cooled car or 996 gt2 maybe.

A 996 is a 996; GT2 or not - it's still ugly. JMO.
I'm sure the unicorn is for investment. I think we would all agree that the low mile GT3RS will be up there in 5 to 10 years. Heck - even the regular GT3 will do fine. The fact is, Porsche isn't looking back; be prepared for more turbos and hybrids in the near and distant future. NA will soon go extinct. 997 has the NA Mezger.
If one can afford, why not have a unicorn in bubble wrap and another for play? I'll admit, my GT3 is all play and all track; stripped down to the bone - no street use. Stays in garage at the track. What a blessing it would be to also have a unicorn in the garage for CC.

It's nice to dream about a dream garage.. some are more fortunate (literally) than others. I personally buy cars to drive. If I want to simply look at a car, I buy a poster and hang it on the wall. $1000 in Porsche posters (framing is expensive), and a GT3 to drive the wheels off.. then change wheels.
But I'm with mooty - if you're gonna save the unicorn, get something different.
