:-) I love my 991 GT3 but if I ever had to let one go, it would never be my 997.2 GT3 RS. She is part of the family! :-)

but i hear many talking about steering feel and vintage feel. i grew up driving long hood. and i just added 86 and 72. and likely a 73 in a few day. compared to those, 7gt3 has very little steering feel, literally no bump steer issues and drives itself. i would bet half of the 7gt drivers can't shift to save their lives in a 915.
I was less fortunate. Cut my teeth building and thrashing VWs during the 80's Bug-In era www.bugin.com - Back then I put 90 lb bag of cement mix in the frunk to stabilize... but the bumps always had their way with steering. When the clutch went out, I'd rev match manually to shift.

It's fun to reminisce about vintage as everyone has their vintage time. Much happier with the new vintage 997

The current 9A1 in GT3 trim doesn't exactly have a stellar rep...
in every sport, ppl like what pro uses what racings uses. ugh... stuff pro's use are generally horrendous for non pro's. i was once very good in golf, tennis and mtb. and let's just say most amateur would be way better off if they leave the pro equipment to pro's. but racing does improve the breed. so let the pro's go race it. if it works great if not so be it. i would not consider "race bred" as a marketing positive until proven.
