Update:

Minor update, my kitty is sick - I have been at the hospital for a few hours, only had a little time this morning to work on this project. Will continue when time allows.

Update:
All hardware is in. Replacing all hardware with Stainless Steel and end cap to cover the screws, witch will be painted the color of the car. Here is a quick sample of the hardware. Should have first working prototype end of the week . I say prototype because i'm sure i will have to do 1 or 2 revisions to get this down perfect.

Almost done! One final update after this one.

Did another rev, prior to final piece ( i have done at least 20 on CAD!). Should have final piece cut, and painted by next week. I need to get the whole car detailed as it's filthy.

The right side isn't too bad but the left side needs more of a curve (looks like it was chopped though). Otherwise, this turned out great!

Good eye and thank you! I ran out of material, hence it's chopped off however i wanted to test that it fits snugged and all mounting points get corrected. Ordered new material and enough paint for 6 carrera white panels / screw caps.

I'm going to reserve judgement till the final product.

However, I'm a fan of the bumperettes. They remind me of the 911's when I was growing up.

Everyone has different taste. To my eyes, lines are much cleaner w/out them. Some owners of the older 911's , also delete them. Anyways here it's final design did 2 more revs from last picture, this is final rev. In for painting. Car is getting detailed to try to remove the scuffs the bumperrettes created on the bumper over the years.

If you want to get rid of the bumperettes just get a bumper from MJSpeed and be done with it. It won't be $3K.

Then it becomes a story car. OEM parts get lost / sold /damage( 50%+ of the time). yada yada. I like keeping oem parts. OM euro bumper is $2123 (99750541193)
This mod is $160 bucks(weeks coffee $) achieves' the same and reversible with 0 effect and have $2000+ to blow on strippers / race tires / *insert your drug* chocolates (in my case).
