I got a few emails. For those whom need a bit of help with imagination. See attachment. Obviously missing paint, however already sent mine out for paint.
Looks almost like my rear bumper.

Is your car paint code, B4, carrera white ? I sent 3 to get painted with that paint code. Will PM you after I get back.

Beautiful machine. Is that car an ex-norcal car ? If so, i met the prior owner, he said it was 1:1 for non-rs in that color. I like your style with license plate frame, i was thinking of going similar,

That looks great Enrique. Have you weighed the warts and supports that you removed? Any thought to making these for the 996 crowd?

Thanks John. Good point. I'll weight the painted oem warts and report weight.
The plastic weights 178 grams and the hardware (with caps) weight 48 grams. So net, i'm adding 200 grams back. I'll re-weight when painted.

Thus far, for sure weight
the rear bar, initial weight :5,660 grams ,
after removing the aluminum warts : 4227 grams

*edit* found one painted bumperrete in my home office

I'll weight oem plastic warts: 138 grams each x 2 = 276 grams
I'll weight painted panel w/ hardware:

Yes I also would like to make it for the 996. I'm suppose to meet the owner of my prior 996T sometime within next 2 weeks. Will have his car on the lift, 3d scan etc etc. Hoping i can get someone a bit more local (he is 100 miles north of me), therefore i can do several prototypes like i did with this one. Over 20 revs on CAD alone, several 3d scans, and several actual print outs and re-measure. Not as easy as it looks.

It isn't so much about the weight to me, but that looks so much cleaner. Speed Yellow or carbon fiber?

Yes i agree about cleaner look, however just addressing the weight question. I can make in CF. Using prepeg CF wont be cheap. A few weeks of latte's. Also won't be easy for local cnc shop wanting to cut it for me because of CF dust...

Thank you. Very nice RS! Accomplished the same for much less and wont be able to tell the difference and still keep OEM bumper, which is the point.
