I recently, briefly considered selling mine as we have six vehicles and two motorcycles taking up garage space. In the GT3 world, mine is nothing really special - it's the usual Carrara White 997.1 non-RS version which seem to be considered second-class citizens in the GT3 world.
But I've come to the conclusion that it scratches my Porsche itch better than anything else on the market that I can afford comfortably. While it's not my all-time favorite of the 22 Porsches I've owned in the past 44 years, it's pretty close to the top and it makes me smile every time I take it for a drive. I'm pretty sure this one is a forever keeper as long as I am physically able to enjoy it.
Maybe that's why there are so few of them on the market at any given time. A non-abused, well-kept, properly priced .1 GT3 a great value for money - It has great looks, epic performance, amazing dependability and it is relatively simple to maintain.

Different strokes for different folks
I didn't love the suspension on my .1
Other than that it was a great DE car
Not many 997 GT3s that have truly never seen the track - only most recent cohort of GT owners are cars and coffee folks - used to all be driving enthusiasts

All good thoughts thx..
Forgot how common white gt3s were at de's I guess
Spiffy - great idea to pull out inner wheel wells on a PPI. have to remember that - not likely someone would bother when detailing for sale. More rubber = more track!
