How are you loving the RS4? I have been stalking one for a daily....any issue with dependability?

Unless somebody builds a proper manual sports car again, my RS will stay.

The 997 RS is too exceptional even in todays modern game like era cars, people need to drive a manual once in a while and see what has come about in todays automotive world.

When I drive it, I feel like I am driving in the past, but I like it.

What I recommend is trade the .1 and RS4. You are ready to trade the .1 but you can buy a RS4 anytime.

If you get an RS now, you are buying it when it is about to go up. In 2 years, get another RS4, their prices would be lower then also.

You are saving money by doing it now. Of course, if you keep the RS4 and can afford it, you've saved too but you said it would take you another few years. But in 2 years, you wont find an RS for 200k, mark my word on this, whether its a track rat or garage queen. Track rats right now range 150-175 already.

its a WIN WIN.

Currently I have a 997.1 NB and a 2008 Audi RS4 that both sit in the garage. I daily a 958 CTT, and my wife DD's a 2015 Q7 Sport.

I'm thinking of selling both the RS4 and .1 and looking for an RS. Would you do it? Another option would be to sell the .1 and just get an RS but that would take me a few years to do since I've already got a car payment on the CTT and don't really want another one and by that time, who knows how crazy the market si going to be.

Thoughts, opinions and general discussion appreciated.

Thanks.

I have both a 997.2 RS and an RS4 which is my DD. The RS4 is probably one of the best DD's I've ever had. Given what they are going for now (which isn't alot), I'd use your RS4 as your DD, get rid of the Cayenne and the 997.1 and buy the 997.1 or .2 RS. Just my 2 cents worth.

I like this rational. The only issue is that I'm the original owner of this very pristine RS4. I don't think I'd be able to get another one like this if I sold it. If I sold the RS4, I'll never get another one. I've had it long enough and the hoopla has worn off. I also think that the Cayenne Turbo is a way better daily driver sad it's faster smoother and easier to drive on a daily basis. It's also more comfortable for the passengers.

Sir, what ever your reasons are, the RS is better than your RS4. And I can tell you, your RS4 is just another audi. Dont get too attached too it. No offense in anyway. I am like you, attached to a one owner car.

You can buy another RS4 from another person like you who babies car. Low miles and prestine. You are not unique. All of us babies cars like its a person. But if you need to choose, and you need to satisfy your dream, please,

trade that .1 and RS4. Its dreams that you are reaching, make it happen.

Its your choice.

The .1 and the Rs4 will get you half way there - quite a premium for the RS over GT3
