Am I the only idiot keeping my GT3 in the city??

I may revisit parking come October. Have to find a place to stash my Defender after beach season and then have to decide whether to keep GT3 in the city or move it.

How you like the defender? It's the ultimate city yuppy car even acknowledging that I've been looking for one for my 20 minute SF commute each day

It's the greatest thing I've ever owned. So much pleasure out of such a simple instrument. Top comes off this weekend and doesn't go back on until October. Can power was the dash board and it fires right up.

And compared to Porsches, Defenders are cheap....

For sure!

Lets get a drive together soon! Just waiting to see when they will be done with my transmission. Also told them to do a full fluids service, $1,200 This car might become more expensive to maintain than my F355

Trying to put something together for June 11th weekend. Maybe meet in Englewood, NJ and then drive up to Bear Mountain for some fun.

I'd come down from Albany and participate, but I'm going to be in Montreal for the F1 race that weekend.

NYC Parking charges are a drop in the bucket.

In NYC and (and boroughs for all you arbitrageurs) you get banged over the head with the extra 4% INCOME tax.

At some point, that secret premium you pay plus the other costs starts to really add up. I've done the math!

I'm down for a little run that weekend but Sunday is only day for me unfortunately. It's 5yr old recital season
