I would expect it to be related to one of these two switches. The one to the right blocks the air, so the compressor doesn't run forever. It might have other functions too, as it regulates air three ways. The one two the right, I would expect to block/open air going down. There are a few o-rings in there that could be faulty.

Also, on the middle of the unit, in conjunction with the air reservoir, there is a pressure release valve. Now, when the car goes down, you can hear it release air. Or, I'm expecting it to be this doing it. You might want to check the function of it.

[QUOTE = bovien; 15775263]我希望它與這兩個交換機中的一個相關。右邊的一個阻擋了空氣,因此壓縮機不能永久運行。它也可能有其他功能,因為它以三種方式調節空氣。正確的兩個,我希 望阻止/露天下來。那裡有一些可能有問題的O形圈。

此外,在裝置的中間,與儲氣罐一起,有一個壓力釋放閥。現在,當汽車倒下時,你可以聽到它釋放空氣。或者,我期待它是這樣做的。您可能想檢查 它的功能。[/ QUOTE]

David,

I have my FAL unit overhaul, measure all the 3 valve sensors, and the motor that produced the air. Found the motor is low RPM. The normal motor should pump 10 bars in 60 seconds, instead my pump only doing 4 bars in 60 second, therefore the car never reach the full capacity needed by the given amount of time. The reserve tank equipped with 18bar switch that should filled in 120 seconds. Simple story is only 2 things on the pump that will gone bad, either the switches or the motor. In my case the motor needs to be replace, Motor produced ny JEI Sample. but could not get the same spec from any motor producer.

My 997.2 just started doing this. Lift is up and shows the indicator on cluster, button light is on and pressing the button to disengage does nothing. Car lowers after driving around 30 mph.

Mine works normally 'most' of the time. I've caught it misbehaving a time or two over the past 7.5 years, but not enough to get too bummed out about it. Some days it does work flawlessly though, even despite not being serviced in that entire time period.

Cool ! Out of curiosity, were all three pressure switches faulty or just a particular one of them?

Don’t know.

lift would go up with button, but would not go down with button.
Works perfect(Up and down) now.

i think the sum of the parts (retail) would have benn $1000.
