In a perfect world, I would keep everything I have and add more. I understand where you are coming from mooty with having too many cars all serving relatively similar purposes. You cannot deny that it would be pretty satisfying to have them all though.
Unfortunately there is limited space. A 4.0 would be the best to add but there are only 5 in the country so that could be a bit of a challenge.

NOPE next time u in town, let's get together. we can have a major philosophical discussion on this..... having one of everything is romantic. but not really... i can't afford all the RS ever made. but at one point when i was not fat and raced MTB i was able to have 20+ hi end MTB ($10-$12k each, this was in the 90's, so 10k was a lot more money than it is today. dont ask, i was at CAL i sold grass to earn money, i cleaned up)... some are good for soft terrain, some are good for hardpack, some are all around, some are good for descend some are good for climb etc etc. i had everything. then the problem was to decide what to ride. there were times i drive several bikes to the trail, or have team mates drive my bikes and locate them at different parts of the trail so i wold do 40+ miles on 4-6 bikes and put together the DREAM RIDE. it was cool for a while. then it became work. i THOUGHT more about riding than actual RIDING. maybe you will be more successful than i in resolving that issue ;-)
I drive whatever has fresh tires and is properly serviced and ready to go.
Gt4 has no tires left? Ok take viper.
Viper ran out of brakes? Okay 675LT.
Oh it's a porsche event? i'll bring a 3RS...

^ LMAO. each one of those bikes i had, each hat 2-3 sets wheels with tires mounted to go.
all are set up for me
so they were all ready to go ugh....
i got lazy to the point that i line up my wheels in wheel bags. now i ride on road only. if i get a flat, i dont even bother fixing them. call home, wife will drive the bag to me. i just eat power bar on the street and wait for the support vehicle hahaha.
but, yes, if u can, get them all and pls invite me over to drool

To the OP, if you are in JHB you might be a tad disappointed with the straight line performance of the 7.1 RS, especially compared with your turbos and 500+ bhp NA cars in your garage. Shortening the final drive might help, or maybe try a 7.2RS. Drive them both and make up your mind.
For those not familiar, Jo'burg is about 6k feet above sea level so most NA cars lose 15% of their quoted power.

After a while, I saw a used 991 GT3 on the floor at the dealership and fell in love. I had to have it. Getting back into the GT3 made me realise how much I missed my old one. Missed that manual engagement, the feel of the hydraulic steering and the roar of the Mezger.
So basically, this car is more about the feel. More about what I used to know and love. The 997.1 RS that I was going to leap at actually has some minor accident damage and that has put me off. It obviously wasn't meant to be. :thumb up:
