Default WTB: 997.2 RS

Over 20k miles / minor accidents or over revs fine

Don't care about color

Strongly prefer leather, navi and lift options, not not picky can always add those in later if not.

$ moves up if you have coolant lines done / LSD done / tied off cam actuators / 4.0 clutch and flywheel upgrade

US or Canada fine

PM me

Its becoming harder and harder to get a good sample, but something will come up, just have to be ready with the Dinero.

Not sure about now but when I was in the hunt I had to be lightning speed quick. I lost many opportunities due to people putting down deposits way early. In the end I ended up paying what I thought was way too much at the time. Considering how clean the car was and still is, I could easily sell for 180 maybe even 195-200k considering the exterior and interior is flawless with 75xx miles.

I even put down 2 refundable deposits for cars that I had to turn down, but I could have easily grabbed them. Autotrader was actually a good source for me. Check every damn hour and as soon as you see something good put a deposit no matter the dealer says. It's how I got mine. Seller said it's sold, but buyer backed out.

Buy the seller, more than the car.
I've not done PPI and offer to wire money in an our.

The only way.
Bought a 450SEL 6.9 and sold my 500E (with PPI) like that today.
Mooty checked out seller for me though. Thanks Mooty!

unless the stock market poops the bed, I don't think you're going to find a bargain basement car. It's agonizing watching you fret over 20-30K. Just do it...you'll make that money back.

There are cars out there for a lot less than the $ posted, and he wants a properly enjoyed car... garage queens or former track ***** hidden to look like garage queens (yes it can be done, easily) are the ones commanding the large $.

I think the market perturbation resulting from 997 owners moving to 991s has largely moved through the system. There will likely be a secondary movement as the 991 premiums ease and a few that have been waiting move into a second owner 991.

You have obviously been looking for a while, so i suspect you have a pretty good handle on what is available and what they are being offered for. As you know mine has not been advertised, but I would sell it for the right price.
