Would love own one of these one day if the insane prices come down a bit... My local dealer has one for 250k. Thats what 100k over the original sticker from 6 years ago? I understand they are amazing but who pays 100k over for a 6 year old car withour warranty?

You can buy at this time maybe 30-40 above msrp. This is still the cheapest RS and for sure still retains some of what porsches are supposed to be.

We will see how the future will judge the 991, but you cant go wrong on a 997.

It's been almost 5 months of ownership for me so it's time for a quick bump...

I've done a lot of driving and have enjoyed every single second. Getting behind the wheel of this car is always a truly special experience. I've managed to visit 11 US states and even snuck into Canada. It's been a great summer of driving.

And I've been doing a little bit of work here and there on the car, making it as perfect as can be. It is generally stock but one thing about it bothers me and that's the height of the rear wing. So after doing some research and seeing Tye's car at Werks a couple of weeks ago, I'm now the proud owner of these OEM Cup uprights that I sourced from FVD:

They'll need a little trimming but the end result will be a 3+" height increase of the rear wing. Stay tuned...

Glad I could help. Just some info for you guys,
With the modified cup uprights, the wing is 11cm (4.3 inches) higher at the mounting points and 8.4cm (3.3 inches) further back with relation to the stock wing

I'll start a separate thread on how I did this but wow, the difference is stark!

Which premium is 'good' for a comparable 997.2 RS vs. normal 997.2 ?
Is 60k$ too much?
Or will the premium in future only getting higher?

Even the house looks brighter. Probably a great job but the 2 photos don't are so different in contrast, it's hard to tell how good the detail really is.
