"One thing is for sure...when I the Lambo is in the garage its so irrational to me that I have one that I want to sell it....but once I am in the car driving...I can't imagine ever getting rid of it."
That's funny...I'm exactly the opposite! When mine is sitting in the garage looking amazing, I can't imagine selling it, and when I'm driving it, I find myself longing for the gt3!

After that I purchased a 957 cayenne GTS, I know not a sports car but last of the really raw sporty trucks that I will never get rid of. I dream of adding a 991 S to the garage but somehow I think I'll be kicking myself for not adding a gt3 of any year as that was always my plan until I read so many positive reviews on the 991.1 carerra S. I love cars with souls and it sounds like the 997 GT3 might be exactly what I am looking for and will look nice sitting next to my cayenne GTS. I also think a v10 R8 is in my future (in addition to a 911) as it is a mild mix of all these cars but with a touch more usability and the v10 that I so dearly miss I have thought about picking up a d3 s8 just to hear that car bark, know some guys doing header back exhausts on those cars and they are actually quite incredible with soul that the newer cars are lacking
Cheers to a nice convo.

Done!!!! Mooty was right! I flirted with possibly getting a 997.1 gt3rs, a 997.2 non-rs, and maybe even a 997.2 rs, but at the end of the day, I wanted to keep the Gallardo (for now at least!), so started focusing my efforts on moderate mileage 996's since they are a great value and would enable me to justify keeping both cars. So after a couple months of searching, and some extended discussions with the awesome forum member that owned my old 996 gt3 (lax01), I re-purchased my former car! I could not be more thrilled. It is everything (and more) I recalled, and is still the best "driver's" car I have ever owned! I love it! There is something about these engines that just can't be beat, period!
