2008 GT2 for sale, 15,216 miles, added pics
CORRECTION, IT HAS 15,216 miles I got the mileage mixed up with his old GT3....
I'm helping a buddy sell his GT2, so I figured I would put a post up here. I know the car very well, so I can answer any questions about it, and can speak on his behalf.
First and foremost, this is/was his HPDE car, with that being said it has never been off the track, hit or damaged in any way shape or form. There are no over revs past stage 4.
Service items: (which are current and up to date)
He is meticulous about service and preventitive maintenance. It recieved and oil change after every event, gear oil 2x a year, brake fluid every other event, Coolant (water and water wetter) every year.
Maintenance:
Turbo's were replaced at the end of last year, due to a bolt which looked like a cam cover bolt from a 993, somehow found a home in the vtg control solenoid linkage on the turbo which held it wide open, after removing the bolt that solenoid intermittently would act up. So he decided to replace both turbos
cv axles were both serviced
spark plugs replaced
all rubber coolant hoses replaced
all coolant junctions were welded on the engine (known issue on meztger)
new windshield
new front splitter
new rocker panel side skirts
new center radiator (original was nasty from track debris)
new a/c condensors (same condition as center radiator)
Now on to the modifications, only the best was used (opinion of course)
He used Porsche parts either from the dealer or PMNA as much as he could.
All factory stock parts that were removed was saved and will go with the car upon sale, as well as all track duty parts.
The entire car is clear wrapped
Penske double adjustable struts and shocks
HyperCo 900# 2.25 springs in front, with eibach 0 wt helpers mounted on eibach hydraulic spring perches

I added some pics of the interior work, and I mixed up the mileage between his old GT3, this GT2 has only 15,216 miles.
As soon as I get it detailed up I'll post pics of the exterior and suspension, it needs a bath before its pics.

Thanks!
it's an awesome car! Sub 2 minute car capabilities at VIR full course, it ran a 2:48 lap time on VIR grand (old track) with Tom Long at the wheel, with PSM on, he felt there was more time in the car! This was at full street weight and stock power level.
